Center for Information and Collaboration

The CIC site is located in the CAPLA parking lot, and acts as a beacon to Tucson as well well as a place of collaboration. With easy circulation, it invites students to spend time in the space, and acts as a northern campus library. The structure and system integration of the project work hand in hand. The development of these large saddlebags on both the east and west facades act as a thermal barrier from the sun, as well as mechanical system runs, bathrooms egress stairs and elevator locations.
